ULI-NNJ will be hosting a workshop on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. aboard the 130 ft. Cornucopia Princess. The workshop will feature a presentation and tour by the City of Perth Amboy, which will showcase a number of redevelopment projects, along with a discussion of what worked, what didn't work, and lessons learned.

You cannot hope to design and build these structures without a down-and-dirty understanding of these soils. That’s what this hands-on course is all about.
The Redevelopment Planning Law course, a three-½-day dynamic and engaging course, explores the legal and planning aspects of the redevelopment process in New Jersey. Instructors address major topics including redevelopment plans, redeveloper agreements, and current legal and public policy issues. Case studies are used to demonstrate the successes and pitfalls of redevelopment planning.
