The purpose of this session is to introduce participants to the origins of the BLM, FLPMA, and other related laws for managing the Nation’s most extensive network of public lands. A better understanding of why and how the BLM works with the public, partners and diverse interests improves inter-jurisdictional collaboration to meet shared goals.
