David Heller is a Team Leader for Regional and Systems Planning for the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO) and has been there for more than three years. He manages a team that is responsible for the Regional Transportation Plan, Asset Management, the Congestion Management Process, Travel Demand Modeling, and Greenhouse Gas/Sustainability issues, amongst other things. David has worked in the field of city and regional planning in various positions for more than 15 years, 13 of which have been in New Jersey. Having worked and lived in both the northern and southern parts of the State gives David a unique perspective on the issues and challenges facing planning in New Jersey.
David received a B.S. in Urban and Regional Studies from Cornell University, and a Masters of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.S. in Management from NJIT.
