Assignments will include both municipal and private work, including master plans, redevelopment, affordable housing and other planning studies. NJ P.P. license preferred but not required. Bachelor s Degree in Transportation, Urban Planning, Engineering, Landscape Architecture or related area, and three (3) years of applied experience in planning, evaluating and developing transportation improvement projects. Excellent written, verbal and visual graphic communications skills and experience with AutoCAD, Access and Word desired. Master’s Degree in Urban Planning desired.
Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Geography, Transportation, Information Technology, Engineering or related area, from a U.S. Department of Education accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional experience with Geographic Information Systems, concentrating in spatial data analysis, GIS data creation, and map preparation. Proficiency with database applications skills is desirable. Master’s degree in any or one of the above mentioned areas may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Engineering, or related field, and six (6) years experience in initiating, developing, evaluating public transportation improvement projects, to include three (3) or more years of experience in managing staff and consultants in the design, development and implementation of technical or engineering improvement projects.

The employee will gather and analyze data on population, employment, land use, housing, and economic sectors.
