The Department of Human Ecology at Rutgers is seeking qualified applicants with expertise in social science theory and the practice of environmental, urban, and societal sustainability. With an expected start date of Fall 2023, this position will contribute to the continued development, growth, and implementation of academic programs focused on Sustainability within the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. The successful candidate will have an initial teaching load of four to six courses per Academic Year. They will also be expected to further develop the existing academic Minor in Sustainability and will contribute to the scoping of a potential interdisciplinary Major in Sustainability.
