The APA-NJ Housing Committee will be discussing the first draft of a NJ-specific Housing Policy Guide along with hosting a forum featuring Professor John Hasse and the recent Rowan University research report on the persistence of exclusionary zoning in New Jersey.

The APA-NJ Redevelopment Committee will be hosting its first meeting under the leadership of Michele Delisfort, who was appointed by the APA-NJ Executive Committee in June 2011. The agenda includes: welcome & introductions, redevelopment policy guide, workshop session/topic ideas and partnerships.
ULI-NNJ will be hosting a workshop on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. aboard the 130 ft. Cornucopia Princess. The workshop will feature a presentation and tour by the City of Perth Amboy, which will showcase a number of redevelopment projects, along with a discussion of what worked, what didn't work, and lessons learned.
This session promises to be interesting as planners today face many ethical dilemmas. An overview of the AICP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct will be given along with a description of ethics principles, rules of conduct and ethics complaint procedures. The session speaker will share “real life” ethical situations and scenarios. Learn about ethical situations that your peers face in the region and on a national basis.
The APA-NJ Redevelopment Committee will be having a conference call to discuss its first draft of a NJ-specific Redevelopment Policy Guide.
