Description

Excellent opportunity for a qualified candidate to serve as an Assistant to Planners in the development of land use plans for County and regional projects.  Will conduct preliminary analysis for development reviews and prepare reports on planning matters.  Will assist with planning projects involving transportation systems, industrial & residential areas, historic preservation, water supplies, wastewater, and stormwater management.  May conduct surveys, research, and analysis of pertinent planning data.  Will assist in designing and drafting planning documents that will include graphic presentations.     

Requirements: This position requires Bachelor’s Degree including or supplemented by 21 semester hour credits in professional planning subjects.  One year of experience in municipal, county, regional or state planning.
