Webinar: Technology in Community Building Applications: Implementation of Social Media, Computer Programming and Virtual Reality Platform (CM | 1.5)

March 30, 2012 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

In today’s world, new and innovative technology is being used to help create community planning charretes, vision statements and neighborhood plans. Information is shared and community planning initiatives are formed through social media. Virtual realities modeled after real cities have become sharing grounds for community organizers and planners. New computer programing models are helping to direct planning strategies by mapping out goals and strategies based on community feedback. Participants will learn first-hand how these innovative technological approaches are being utilized in the community building process, how to apply them to real world situations, and how to acquire the skills and information necessary to develop these programs.
