This webinar provides an overview of logistics, the supply chain, and the various components and functions involved in getting goods from origin to the final customer. We’ll show how freight enters the port complex, and the processes involved getting goods the point of consumption. The discussion includes key trends in the goods movement arena and the challenges that these trends pose to the planner. These challenges include capacity constraints, environmental pressures, system security, and lack of financing for needed improvements.
