Save the Date: Thursday, June 6, 2013. The conference will be held at the Newark Museum. The conference is co-hosted by the NJ Historic Trust, NJ Historic Commission, NJ Historic Preservation Office, and the Common Wealth of New Jersey. 

The conference is pleased to welcome keynote speaker Tony Hiss who will begin by exploring how residents, workers and visitors experience place. Educational tracks will be offered for architectural and planning professionals, historic preservation commission members, heritage site managers and trustees, historians, and archaeologists. In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, specially designed workshops will offer guidance on disaster planning and recovery. Many of the sessions to be offered will qualify for continuing education credits for planning and architecture professionals.
