Downtown New Jersey “Excellence Awards”

Downtown New Jersey (DNJ) is a non-profit corporation comprised of individuals, business leaders, government and non-profit representatives that are passionate about downtowns. New Jersey downtowns act as a focal point for our communities, reflecting their unique identities, and providing residents with a convenient local place of commerce, and an opportunity to gather and enjoy their community. The DNJ “Excellence Awards” recognize New Jersey’s best downtown projects and programs. Previous award-winning projects include mini parks, storefront facade improvements, train stations, office buildings, academic facilities, riverfront entertainment complexes, courthouses, residential developments and parking facilities. Winning submissions are considered models worthy of emulation and are promoted on DNJ website. Our partners for this exciting event include: The Heldrich Center, NJ Economic Development Authority, Economic Development Association of NJ, NJ Future, Main Street, NJ, APA-NJ, Congress for The New Urbanism- NJ Chapter, Regional Plan Association-NJ, NJ TRANSIT, and Association of Consulting Engineers -New Jersey.
