Innovative Success Stories, Strategies for Communities (CM Pending | 2.0)

Join us for an exciting and concluding Webinar in this year long series. Over the course of the 2011-12 series, participants have learned about many innovations that have produced inspiring stories from around the country and Florida. This Webinar will discuss several programs that have contributed significantly to the growing movement for energy efficiency, alternative energy sources, and outreach and education.

Maggie Molina, American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy, on ACEEE’s state energy efficiency scorecard and the detailed Florida assessment.

Brad Copithorne, Environmental Defense Fund, will speak on EDF’s work to creatively provide solutions to financing energy efficiency projects, including the unique California on-bill repayment program.

Lisa Bacot, Executive Director of the Florida Public Transportation Association, on progressive Florida efforts that have made public systems more energy efficient.

Anne Blair, Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, on SACE’s positive experience with bioenergy programs in the southeastern USA.

Amy Meese, Sarasota County Natural Resources Department Manager, on the county’s “Green Champions” program and its participation in an innovative K-12 education effort.
