Description
The City of Vineland is seeking a motivated and experienced planning professional to serve as Principal Planner and support the City’s planning and development goals.
Essential Functions:
- Processes Land Use Development Applications
- In-house review of plans & documents
- Post-approval administration
- Prepares Redevelopment Investigations, Plans & Amendments
- Drafts Land Use Ordinance Amendments
- Responds to inquiries from developers & the public
- Administers professional contracts
- Prepares studies & analyses requested by Boards or Administration
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of municipal, state & federal laws & regulations related to land use
- Clear & concise writing
- Display confidence speaking publicly
- Knowledge of State planning, affordable housing & transportation
Education & Experience:
- Graduation from college or university with degree in planning or closely related field
- Licensed New Jersey Professional Planner
- Minimum 3 years planning experience
Salary Range
$88,577 – $117,934
