Webinar: Practical Application of Takings, Exactions and Constitution (CM I 1.5)

This webcast will discuss the limitations on and common legal challenges to local land use decisions and will discuss practical steps local land use agencies should consider to conform to federal constitutional and statutory limitations. Among the topics discussed are: Procedural requirements for legislative and fact-finding hearings; administrative procedures that may be implemented to reduce the risk of litigation, legitimate factors in land use controls; use of moratoria; implementation of impact fees, dedications or other exactions; and related topics from recent court decisions or events.
