DESCRIPTION:Register Now\nEach year\, RPA brings together more than 1\,000 civic and business leaders from around the New York metropolitan area to discuss major issues affecting the prosperity and quality of life in the region. At the 2014 Assembly\, RPA released groundbreaking research from their ongoing work on the Fourth Regional Plan. For the 2015 Assembly\, we will address the difficult and often controversial choices that we face as we create a framework for a more livable\, sustainable and equitable region\, from the role of nuclear power to affordable housing targets to debt financing of infrastructure projects.

DESCRIPTION:Mayor Bill de Blasio & U.S. Senator Chris Murphy to speak at the RPA Assembly \nJoin RPA on April 25 at the Waldorf-Astoria as they explore the challenges facing the New York\, New Jersey\, Connecticut tri-state region. \nRegister today! \nEach spring\, RPA brings together more than 1\,000 civic and business leaders from around the New York metropolitan area to discuss major issues affecting the prosperity and quality of life in the region. At this year’s RPA Assembly\, speakers\, workshops and interactive presentations will explore our initial research for the next regional plan and discuss how to create more livable\, prosperous and equitable communities\, protect ourselves from severe weather\, and grapple with our fiscal and governance challenges. \nAPA/AICP Members \nThe RPA Assembly is approved for APA/AICP Certification Maintenance credits. The morning and luncheon programs are worth 1.5 credits\, and all of the breakout sessions (except for the Big Ideas session) are worth 1.5 credits.
