We have applied for NJ CLE credits. \nMeet the Panel: \nDENNIS BONE is the inaugural director of the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship located in the School of Business at Montclair State University. Dennis retired in the summer of 2012 from Verizon New Jersey Inc.\, where he served as President and CEO for more than a dozen years. His 33-year career at Verizon and its predecessor companies challenged him with numerous assignments and responsibilities across many organizations. Overseeing one of the largest companies in the state\, Dennis helped guide Verizon through unprecedented advances in telecommunications technologies. \nROBERT CURVIN is an expert on urban politics\, economic development and social policy. Curvin is a Distinguished Senior Policy Fellow at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy of Rutgers University. Curvin was previously president of the Greentree Foundation; vice president and director of the Ford Foundation’s Urban Poverty Program; and dean of the Graduate School of Management and Urban Professions\, at the New School for Social Research. He is the author of a new book\, Inside Newark: Decline\, Rebellion\, and the Search for Transformation\, which traces Newark’s history from the 1950s\, when the city was a thriving industrial center\, to the era of Mayor Cory Booker. \nGOV. JAMES J. FLORIO is the founding partner at Florio\, Perrucci\, Steinhardt & Fader and serves as chair of his firm’s Environmental Group as well as the Government and Regulatory Affairs Group. He is a senior policy fellow for public policy and administration at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University\, where he previously served as a university professor. As the governor of New Jersey from 1990 through 1994\, he was responsible for signing into law the Clean Water Enforcement Act (1990)\, one of the strongest environmental laws of its type in the nation. He also signed the Quality Education Act\, which provided greater equity in New Jersey’s school finance system\, a landmark welfare reform package\, a health care cost-reduction program and the nation’s toughest assault weapons ban.
