Call for Session Proposals Due February 6th

Presented by New Jersey Future and the New Jersey Chapter of the American Planning Association, the 2026 New Jersey Planning & Redevelopment Conference (NJPRC26) will convene virtually on June 10–11 and in person on June 12 at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick. The annual conference brings together more than 900 attendees to explore bold ideas, innovative solutions, and proven practices that support stronger, more inclusive, and equitable places where people live, work, and play.

Submit a session proposal

NJPRC26 invites innovative, forward-thinking session proposals that address the evolving challenges and opportunities shaping New Jersey’s communities. With federal policy shifts and a new Governor and administration coming to Trenton, this year’s conference will provide a timely forum to share insights, exchange ideas, and examine emerging trends influencing planning and redevelopment across the state.

The conference will feature 30+ sessions, a virtual and in-person exhibit area, and multiple opportunities for connection and networking. The program will include a mix of pre-recorded, live-streamed, and in-person sessions, offering flexibility for both presenters and attendees.

We encourage proposals that:

  • Share practical tools, successful models, and transferable strategies
  • Elevate equity, inclusion, and community-centered outcomes
  • Foster engaging discussion, collaboration, and peer learning

Please review the Session Guidelines below before creating your Submittable account. The submission deadline is Friday, February 6.

We look forward to learning from your experience and welcoming you to the conference!
