Under general supervision, conduct physical, web-based and academic research related to Agency policy and programmatic goals. Work with Agency staff and outside sources, including other government agencies, non-profit organizations, housing policy research organizations and internet sources to gather data and policy findings. Research housing industry trends and best practices in affordable housing, provide updates and develop new research initiatives. Assist with the implementation of Agency policy and planning projects. Create quality academic reports based on relevant research findings. Represent the Agency on inter-agency committees and serve as a contact to NJHMFA staff and other parties on issues related to data analysis. Perform related duties as required.
Four (4) year degree in Urban Planning, Policy or related field and one (1) year relevant experience, or five (5) years work related experience in Urban Planning or GIS practices. A Master’s Degree is preferable.
