Planner (Ocean County Planning Department)

The Ocean County Department of Planning has an opening for a planner. County planning includes a diverse portfolio of programs and job opportunities. The planner will have the opportunity to work on a variety of programs including community development, open space preservation, stormwater management, and transportation issues.

Applicant must possess a degree in a planning related field or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 21 credits in planning related subjects. This job title is a civil service classification and employment is conditioned upon meeting Civil Service Commission requirements.

Workweek is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (40hrs/wk). Vacation/ Sick/ Personal leave. Health/ Dental/ Vision. NJ Pension System. Salary and job title commensurate with experience.
