This session will explore ADA requirements for local governments and highlight the City of Lakewood, Ohio’s 2023 Transition Plan—developed with DLZ and community input—as a case study in evaluating accessibility and implementing strategies to remove barriers to programs and services.

Join us on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, for a hybrid showcase of graduate and undergraduate studio work. The program features an undergraduate vision plan on rehabilitating abandoned properties in Chelsea, Atlantic City, followed by a graduate presentation on Plan4Health and a Salem City Health Element in partnership with Salem City and APA New Jersey.

The New Jersey Sustainability Summit is a dynamic, one-day annual event that unites leaders and changemakers from the political, private, and public sectors.
