Linda is a Principal Planner with the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission (NJMC), where she has been employed for the past 12 years. As a project manager, Linda emphasizes sustainability principles in her work, which has included the NJMC’s award-winning Master Plan, its first master plan in 34 years; two successful EPA Brownfields Assessment Grants; and a variety of other projects. Linda also provides planning assistance to the Meadowlands region’s fourteen constituent municipalities on affordable housing, brownfields redevelopment, and other topics. Prior to joining the NJMC, Linda held several planning and management positions with the State of Wisconsin and municipalities in New Jersey, giving guidance to policy makers and coordinating initiatives to revitalize communities and to address the needs of underserved populations.
Linda initiated the launch of the Chapter’s Great Places in New Jersey program and currently serves as its Chair.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration, both conferred by the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
