Sustainability Committee

Angela is a licensed Professional Planner in the State of NJ, a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, and a LEED Accredited Professional holding a BS degree from Keene State College and a Masters of Urban & Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia.

She is currently a Senior Planner for Natural Systems Utilities (NSU) in Hillsborough, NJ focusing on sustainable land use and water resource management planning and community development in NJ, NY, MA, and VT.  

Angela is also a member of the Sustainable Communities Working Group, a task force of NJ leaders in land use and the environment, education, engineering, planning, law, architecture, and various state departments and environmental non-profit organizations. This task force created the Sustainable Jersey program, the first state-wide certification program for municipalities working to become more sustainable.  Angela is a member of the Land Use and Transportation Task Force and the Green Infrastructure Task Force for the Sustainable Jersey program.  Since its inception in February 2009, 378 of NJ’s 566 municipalities have registered in the Sustainable Jersey program and 125 have been certified.

Prior to NSU Angela worked in a private municipal planning firm focusing on affordable housing, open space planning, bikeway and walkway planning, historic preservation and watershed planning.
