Students Work

Selected on a rotating basis, the Student Representative serves a one year term of office and has full voting rights on the APA-NJ Executive Committee.  The Student Representative is responsible for keeping the Executive Committee abreast of the evolving character of the planning profession and helping facilitate programs and initiatives that better link emerging professionals with the Chapter, the Young Planners Group and the planning field at-large.

On Thursday, March 3rd, the APA-NJ Young Planners Group partnered with the Rutgers Association of Policy and Planning Students (RAPPS) and the Rutgers Graduate Student Association to present it’s second “Planning Reality 101″. The program was fashioned as a round-robin style, informal group discussion between young professional planners and graduate planning students.
