Community Planning Month – Vineland Walking Tour Pictures!
Celebrate Main Street
Todd Noon, Executive Director of the Vineland Downtown Improvement District – Main Street, and Sandy Forosisky, the Director of Redevelopment for the City of Vineland, will narrate a two hour walking tour of Vineland’s Landis Avenue Main Street Area, including stops at the new Landis Market, Landis Theater, and ending at Mori’s Restaurant.

Coopertown Center Walking Tour: The Borough’s long term vision, redevelopment planning process, the relationship and compromises between the Borough and the redeveloper, the inter-municipal cooperation between Somerdale and Magnolia, the overall successes, the setbacks brought by the economic recession, as well as remaining challenges will be discussed.

On Tuesday, May 10th, APA-NJ hosted a UEZ Forum lead by our Northeast Area Rep. Alex Dambach. The panel discussed possible changes to the UEZ program and the benefits and/or challenges proposed by the UEZ Report by Delta Development Group and HR&A Advisors.

On Thursday, February 24, 2011, the APA-NJ Young Planners Group co-hosted a Young Professionals Mixer at Brick City Bar & Grill in Newark, NJ. Northeast Area Representative Alex Dambach and Alle Ries from La Casa de Don Pedro were guest speakers that discussed redevelopment in Newark.
