Transportation Planner (Morris County Division of Engineering and Transportation)

The Morris County Division of Engineering & Transportation is seeking an entry-level transportation planner to assist in the development of specialized transportation studies; perform technical analyses; coordinate planning with local governments and regional agencies; participate in public outreach; and collect transit, highway, freight, and demographic data for transportation-related projects. Ability to do occasional field work/site visits as necessary to support various planning initiatives. A strong knowledge of ArcGIS is preferred. Candidates are required to possess a four-year degree in planning or a related field. A master’s degree with a concentration in transportation planning is desirable.
