Graphics Intern (Topology)

Ideally, this candidate will be pursuing or have a degree in either urban planning, urban design or landscape architect, though other related fields such as marketing or engineering will be considered. This intern will assist in developing graphics for reports, presentations, proposals and marketing materials. There’s also potential for this position to assist with the creation and management of a social media presence for the office. A general understanding of urban design is preferred, however, the candidate with the greatest ability to create cutting edge, beautiful graphics will be selected. Applicants should have extensive experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite products. Familiarity with SketchUp preferred.

Applicant should be independent self-starters and possess strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with other project managers to complete necessary tasks. Time management is critical; candidates must have the ability to accurately estimate required levels of effort. Flexibility in the applicant’s schedule is preferred; ideally the applicant would have the ability to spend extra hours when necessary to complete a project on time.

The intern is expected to work between 15-24 hours a week in our Newark office, though some telecommuting will be considered.
