Each year APA, its members, chapters, divisions, and professional institute sponsor National Community Planning Month to raise the visibility of the important role of planners and planning in communities across the U.S. The New Jersey Chapter is currently undertaking a series of initiatives and planning events to celebrate this occasion.

On Saturday, October 8, 2011 – YPG Chair Gabe Bailer hosted a tour of Bordentown.
Southern Area Representative, Leah Furey Bruder, hosted a walking tour in Somerdale, NJ featuring the Coopertowne Center development.
