Newark Ironbound Riverfront Walkshop

Join the movement to reconnect the soul of Newark to its river! This interactive walkshop led by Newark Planning Director Damon Rich and others will cover two miles of Newark’s Ironbound riverfront between Penn Station and Chapel Street. Come see for yourself the environmental clean-up of the old city gasworks and the ongoing development of Newark RIverfront Park. Hear the stories and meet some of the Newarkers who have organized their neighbors to shape our community. Please wear comfortable clothes and sturdy closed-toe shoes. You are encouraged to bring a bottle of water.  (CM | 2 Pending)
