Leah is currently the Vice President for Planning at Bach Associates in Haddon Heights, NJ and works with a range of local government and private stakeholders to create plans and land use policies that support the development of vibrant and sustainable communities. She is a licensed Professional Planner and a Member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and has been working in the New Jersey planning field for eleven years.
Leah has worked with municipalities to prepare and implement master plans, master plan reexaminations, redevelopment investigations and plans, revitalization plans, housing plans, zoning ordinances, design standards and public involvement strategies.
After graduating from American University with a degree in International Affairs, she entered a graduate program in Public Administration, with a focus on non-governmental organizations, and spent a summer working with a community organization in Camden, NJ, where she was introduced to the importance of land use planning in community development. Subsequently, she earned a Masters of City and Regional Planning from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University and has worked for municipal government and in private practice.
Leah lives in Medford Lakes, Burlington County and in her spare time she enjoys running, gardening, hiking, and travelling.
